With a program jammed packed with technical, creative and contextual studies, photography is for those who love a challenge. Whilst you're enjoying the many technical workshops in studio lighting, film photography and darkroom practise you will also develop your critical and contextual knowledge in lectures that cover the history of photography, current industry trends and how to discuss and present your work to peers, future clients and potential employers.  You will progress through projects that introduce you to key areas of photography, including documentary, landscape, fashion, still life, portraiture and fine art in order to develop your knowledge of photography and hone your style.

With a strong focus of developing skills for life, studying photography will prepare you for the creative industries or university by giving live briefs, exhibition opportunities and regular peer assessment.
